FOUNDER, TRANSCENDING HEALTHCARE

Mr. Broadnax is on a mission to achieve equity in healthcare for all patients. His unique business model for telehealth helps medical centers and healthcare providers increase the patient/doctor access and deliver better healthcare with lower healthcare cost all while generating additional revenue for the healthcare providers. He enjoyed a successful 20 year career in IT Telecommunications working for companies such as ADP and Aetna before leveraging his knowledge and experience to transition into Telehealth and Healthcare IT. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Broadnax courageously accepted a Mental Health Technician position with a local mental health facility to assist with the youth population and get more familiar with the clinical side of mental healthcare.

Transcending Healthcare was founded to focus on healthcare providers serving the underserved and rural communities. Broadnax himself grew up in a rural community in North Carolina and later lived in underserved communities in Atlanta, Georgia. Seeing the plight of these communities firsthand never left him. He knows how the strategy of telehealth and technology can be leveraged to increase access to healthcare for these areas. Today, his mission is to use his IT background to bring about a change in healthcare in these communities. Mr. Broadnax holds a masters degree in Healthcare Management and Informatics from Kennesaw State University.
